Sour Oranges, DJ’s and Karate Kids. We do like variety at Musa, which is good – since the blog posts that have been brought to our attention this week certainly have them.
To kick off, we’ll look at some recipes that have come our way.
Victoria, a good friend of Musa has shared her experience of turning surprisingly sour oranges into a delicious gluten free cake. Find her recipe here and give it a go, if you can find sour oranges without trying before you buy.
Pancake Tuesday has just passed (we’re sure a few of you may be finding out for the first time now) but we still think you need to check out Scottish Mum’s Malteser Pancakes. Fusion cooking via the chocolate aisle.
TangoRaindrop shared a printable “Colour in Book” that was part of a feature on World Book Day she carried on her site. Certainly something to amuse the little ones during the cup game…or if it rains.
On the subject of other sports we certainly need to congratulate some young Aberdonian Karate athletes who took home an amazing 16 medals from the World Karate Championships.
If you follow our twitter, you may have spotted FoodieQuine promoting the Asian Food Festival that was going on in Aberdeen. If you missed it, don’t worry – she’s written a round up for us and it certainly seems like it’ll be a repeat event.
We hope you all have a great Friday night. We’ve got Pete Coutts and Friends coming over tonight and tomorrow to play for us. Not heard of him, see him in action below.
If Pete isn’t your cup of tea – check out this DJ set via MoodofCollapse.
