You’re here! You survived April Fools…what a day that was. We decided to keep away from it all this year, after the confusion around us moving to Glebe Street we decided we’d tugged on enough heartstrings this year…
Now, on to the roundup of the interesting blogs we’ve spotted this week.
First up is the post we put out on Wednesday which is a small overview of the top 100 Food bloggers in the world – it was great to see a few Scottish blogs there and even better to see one is a regular in our round ups. If you missed it, check it out.
This week’s round up contains mostly recipes, so before we start your taste buds tingling we thought we’d look at a quirky little post we came across. Shortbread & Ginger has a retro post entitled, “Knit your own – Cocktail Dress” complete with vintage images and chat about starching petticoats.
Here at Musa we like something a little different, thanks to Cooksister we have that this week. Her recipe for Dutch Split Pea Soup looks lovely and certainly something a bit different from what we’re used to.
Next up is the lovely Pinch of Sugar with her continuing project “Nose to Tail” from a book she’s been reading. Basic premise is the book contains a menagerie of recipes on how to cook different parts of a cow – from the head to the tail. Yum.
That’s all this week, if you’re looking for some live music in Aberdeen this weekend don’t forget we always have a live band playing. This week we have Los Acousticos Banditos tonight and tomorrow 8pm until 10pm.
Here’s a sneak peek.
